We are excited to share that our recent article entitled “Digitized Energy Systems and Open-Access Platforms: Accelerating Cities’ Transition to Carbon Neutrality” has just been published in Urban Science MDPI! Urban environments face urgent challenges in transitioning to net-zero emissions, particularly regarding the large-scale adoption of renewable energy solutions like photovoltaics (PV). Our study explores the relationship between digitized energy systems, digital twins, and open-access platforms in accelerating effective PV deployment in cities moving toward carbon neutrality.
